Cowardly Lion's King of the Forest Cape
Public Presentation
The wiz
I began creating The Wiz costumes in April 2009, hoping to get ahead of clients’
requests for Halloween costumes. Of the three characters I made, only one survived:
the Scarecrow. It pleases me to know that a piece I created before Michael Jackson’s
passing now has a forever home.
The Tin Man is my rendition of both the original stage play and the classic
movie, and the Cowardly Lion is my rendition of the original stagI hope everyone has
the chance to visit Wamego, Kansas, to take in the entire collection of Wizard of Oz,
The Wiz, and Wicked artifacts.
